Virtual try-on for clothes

Virtual Try-On: See Clothes on Your Own Photo

Upload a photo of yourself and a photo of the garment. Visio AI drapes the piece on your body, with your pose, proportions and lighting, so the decision to buy or skip takes a minute instead of a return.

How does virtual try-on for clothes work?

A virtual try-on takes a photo of you and a photo of a garment and renders the garment on your body. Visio AI does this with AI on iPhone and Android: the piece follows your pose and proportions, keeps your face and background, and the result is ready in about a minute.

It works with product photos from any store, screenshots and your own wardrobe. Every new account starts with a free trial.

How to try on clothes with AI

  1. Add a full-body or three-quarter photo

Stand facing the camera in fitted basics so the garment has a clean canvas.

  2. Add the garment

A product photo, a screenshot from a store page or a flat lay of something you own.

  3. Render and compare

Swipe between the original and the try-on, save it, and try the next piece on the same photo.

Which garments render best?

The AI handles most clothing, but some categories preview more reliably than others. Use this to set expectations before you upload.

What the AI changes and what it keeps

Only the clothing region is redrawn. Your face, hair, hands, skin, pose and background stay as they were, and the garment takes on your lighting so it does not look pasted on.

Try on clothes for prom, a wedding or a date

Occasion shopping is where a preview pays off most: prom and homecoming dresses, wedding guest outfits, interview blazers and vacation capsules. Try three candidates on the same photo, save the folder and decide with a friend before anything is ordered.

Try on clothes from any online store

Because the garment input is just an image, it works with product photos from any retailer, screenshots from social media and pictures of clothes you already own. Save the results in a folder per shopping trip and compare them side by side before checkout.

Tops, bottoms and dresses guides

Each category has its own page with more examples and photo tips: tops (shirts, blouses, knits, jackets), bottoms (jeans, trousers, skirts) and dresses (day, work and evening).

What happens to your photo

Your photo is uploaded over an encrypted connection, used to render the result you asked for, and is not used to train models. You can delete any project inside the app and the associated images are removed with it.

Results are AI renderings on your own photo. They show how a look could sit on you, not a guarantee of how a salon, camera or product will reproduce it.

Frequently asked questions

Is the virtual try-on free?

Every new account gets a free trial that includes try-ons. After the trial, Pro unlocks unlimited renders across every feature.

Can I try on clothes from any website?

Yes. Any product photo or screenshot works as the garment input, from big retailers to small brands and resale listings.

Does it show how the clothes will fit my size?

It shows how the garment looks on your proportions in the photo. It does not measure you or pick a size, so check the retailer's size chart for that.

What photo of me should I use?

Full-body or three-quarter length, facing the camera, in fitted basics, with even light. Hands at your sides render most reliably.

Can I try on my own clothes?

Yes. Photograph the piece on a hanger or flat on a bed and use that as the garment image.

Does it work for men?

Yes. The same tool renders menswear on a men's photo.

Will it change my face or body?

No. The render keeps your face, proportions and pose exactly as photographed and only redraws the clothing, so what you see is the garment on you, not on a slimmer model.

Can I try on a full outfit at once?

Try the top first, then use that result as the base photo for the bottoms, or upload a dress or jumpsuit as a single piece.

Is my photo used to train the AI?

No. It is used to render your result and can be deleted from within the app.

Can I use it on Android?

Yes. Visio AI is on the App Store and Google Play.

How is this different from a retailer's try-on?

Retailer tools only work with that store's catalog. Visio AI works with any garment image and keeps every result in one place on your own photo.
