What is Visio AI?

Visio AI (also written VisioAI or Visio.ai) is a photo editing app for iPhone, iPad and Android. On the App Store it is listed as “Visio - AI Photo & Face Editor”, with Vision Labs as the developer. Vision Labs (Vision Labs Yazılım Hizmetleri A.Ş.) is a software company at ODTÜ Teknokent in Ankara, Turkey, and Visio AI is one of its two consumer apps.

Everything in the app starts from a photo of you. You pick a hairstyle, a hair color, a makeup look or an outfit, and the app returns an edited copy of your photo with that one change. The same app makes AI headshots and photoshoots, removes backgrounds and has art filters such as anime and pencil sketch. All of it happens in the app. This website explains the options and shows examples, but it cannot edit your photo.

Two names cause most of the confusion. Visio AI is not Microsoft Visio, the diagramming software, and it is not the separate web tool that also uses the name Visio AI. For the longer answer, including who makes the app and whether it is safe, read What is Visio AI? or the About page.

A preview is good at one thing: showing how a length or a fringe frames your face. It cannot tell you how your own hair will behave once it is cut, how long the shape takes to style, or whether your hair is thick enough to hold it. What a preview cannot show is the work involved. Going from dark brown to blonde usually takes more than one lightening appointment, while going darker is often done in one. Your colorist will check your starting color, any old dye and the condition of your hair before promising a result, so use the preview as a reference for the shade, not as a guarantee.

Questions people ask about Visio AI

Is Visio AI free?

The download is free and each new account gets a free trial. After the trial, Visio AI Pro is a subscription billed through the App Store or Google Play. The price for your country is shown before you confirm.

Which phones does Visio AI work on?

iPhone and iPad with iOS 16.6 or later, and Android phones. On Android, Google Play tells you whether your device is compatible before you install.

Is Visio AI the same as Microsoft Visio?

No. Microsoft Visio is Microsoft's software for diagrams and flowcharts. Visio AI is a photo editing app made by Vision Labs. The two share part of a name and nothing else.

Is this the Visio AI web tool I found elsewhere?

No. An unrelated web tool also calls itself Visio AI, and it has no connection to Vision Labs. Visio AI from Vision Labs is a mobile app, installed only from the App Store or Google Play. This website has no upload form and does not edit photos.

Does Visio AI do face swaps?

No. It does not put your face on someone else's photo or swap faces between people. It edits your own photo: the hair, hair color, makeup, clothes, background or the style of the portrait.

What happens to my photo?

According to the privacy policy, your photos are used only to make the edits you ask for, and they are not sold or used for advertising. They are processed by Google's generative AI services, stored temporarily with Cloudflare and deleted when technically feasible. Vision Labs does not create or store face templates, faceprints or other biometric identifiers on its servers. To ask for your data to be deleted, email info@visionlabs.com.tr.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Apple and Google handle the billing, so you cancel in your Apple account settings or in Google Play. Deleting the app, or your Visio AI account, does not cancel a subscription by itself.
